These exquisite blue specimens are only found in Sri Lanka, and I am sooo excited to have been able to acquire some 💙
So, they're a bit like a combination of black or peach moonstone's silver sheen with some of the darker gray contrast you see in Labradorite, plus some of rainbow moonstone's sheen-- but just the glowing blue sheen, and not the rest of the rainbow spectrum that you see in the rainbow version... super unique.
⚡️ The light that appears to move across it is called Adularescence. This glowing light moves as you move the stone. It can be can be a bright or subtle blue, white, grey, or even a "cats-eye" appearance:
In short, you definitely aren't seeing all of the blue or silver sheen in these photos...
Each and every one of these spheres has a glow all around it-- an iridescent white / silver sheen as well as a bright patch or two of glowing blue somewhere within it. It's hard for me to choose my favorite because they're all so lovely.. Choose the one that calls to you or ask me for more info!
