CANDLE CARE

🕯 INGREDIENTS
All hand-poured candles are made with 100% Soy wax and the highest quality essential-oil infused fragrance oils that are made specifically for candles. Our candles are not scented with pure essential oils because it's wasteful of plant matter, very expensive, doesn't have a strong scent, and can affect your candle burn. The fragrance oils used are specially curated for candles and hold a longer lasting scent that burns super clean. Tea light candles may not be scented.

🕯 SOY WAX
We only use 100% natural soy wax, so you may notice some discrepancies in color or texture due to it having no preservatives. This is a natural process that happens with time and the color may become lighter or cloudy looking. 

🕯 CANDLE SAFETY
Only burn your candle on a fire-safe plate, and never leave it unattended. We aren't responsible for any damage due to neglect or placing your candle directly upon a surface that could be damaged.
Keep your candle away from flammable items, pets, kids, curtains & drafts. Make sure there is nothing within 2 feet of the candle on all sides. Remove any flammable items before burning and always be attentive.

🕯 WICK CARE
Keep your wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times to ensure proper burning. If the flame looks big with a lot of movement, it's time to trim that wick down for safety and to ensure a longer lasting burn. 
Make sure your wick isn't blocked by any charred substances or crystals that may keep it from staying lit.

🕯 WOODEN WICKS
Wooden wicks need to be trimmed extra short, about 1/8 inch at all times. It may take a couple lights before it gets going. 

🕯 TUNNELING
Candle tunneling occurs when the first burn is extinguished too soon. You may notice that there is solid wax along the edges that doesn't burn.
Always be sure you let your candle burn long enough after the first light to prevent candle tunneling. Let the full top layer of your candle wax burn completely to the container edges the first time so you don't leave any precious wax behind. This is usually about 2-4 hours.

🕯 EXTINGUISHING
If you don't burn the whole candle in one session, that's totally fine! It's recommended that you snuff out the flame rather than blowing it out if you wish to continue the spell later, but this is up your personal preference. You can burn it as many times as you need - just do so with intention and you're good to go.

🕯 CRYSTALS, FLOWERS, & HERBS
Crystals may be removed prior to burning, or if you choose to leave them in - please note that they may fall into the melt pool and obstruct the wick without attention. When your candle is finished burning, simply remove the crystals and wash with warm water and soap. It is recommended to remove any large herbs, flowers, or anything flammable before burning.

🕯 HOW DO I USE IT?
